§ 01 Overview
You have the right to request deletion of personal data we hold about you. This page explains the two ways to do that for the Bennu International S.A. hosted platforms — Chatwoot, Mautic, and Postiz — and from the marketing site at izzatissa.site.

§ 02 Self‑service deletion
Most data can be deleted directly through the platform UIs:
- Postiz — in the workspace settings, you can disconnect any social channel (revokes the OAuth token and removes platform data we cached), delete scheduled or published posts, delete uploaded media, and close your workspace.
- Chatwoot — agent and admin accounts can delete contacts, conversations, and attachments. Account owners can request full account deletion from Profile Settings → Delete Account.
- Mautic — contacts and segments can be deleted individually or in bulk. Account‑level deletion is handled via the email channel below.
Where the platform UI doesn’t expose a deletion option you need, fall through to the email request below.
§ 03 By email request
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. To help us locate your records and verify the request belongs to you, please include:
- The email address associated with your account.
- Which platforms the request applies to (Chatwoot, Mautic, Postiz, the marketing site, or all of the above).
- If applicable, the workspace or organisation name.
- If you are requesting deletion on behalf of another person, evidence of authority.
You can also send the request from a postal address; reach us first by email and we will provide a mailing address.
§ 04 What gets deleted
Unless you scope the request more narrowly, a full deletion request covers:
- Your account and login credentials.
- Workspace, organisation, and team membership records you owned.
- Profile data (name, picture, preferences).
- Content you uploaded or generated — conversations, contact lists, scheduled posts, media, AI prompts, comments.
- OAuth tokens for connected social and messaging platforms (Postiz).
- Cached metrics, analytics, and engagement data tied to your account.
- Marketing‑email subscription state on the izzatissa.site mailing list, if any.
§ 05 Timeline
We acknowledge requests within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days of acknowledgement. Complex requests (for example, large workspaces with thousands of contacts or content to remove from third‑party platforms) may extend that window; if so, we will tell you within the initial 30‑day window.
Backups containing deleted data fall out of rotation within 90 days; until they do, we do not access or restore them except to comply with legal obligations.
§ 06 Social platform tokens (Postiz users)
For Postiz, deleting your account through Bennu does not automatically delete content already published to a third‑party platform (for example, posts on Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube). The published post lives on that platform under its own terms and you must delete it directly through that platform’s tooling if you want it gone there too.
What deletion through Bennu does do for Postiz:
- Revokes and destroys the OAuth tokens we hold for your connected platforms.
- Deletes our cached copies of scheduled drafts, captions, media uploads, and analytics.
- Stops any future scheduled publishes from running.
You can also revoke our access from the third‑party platform’s own “connected apps” settings (for example, Meta Business Tools, X Connected Apps, LinkedIn Permitted Services, TikTok Manage App Permissions). Doing so revokes the token at the platform side; the next time we attempt to use it, it will fail and we will mark the connection as broken.
§ 07 What we must keep
A small set of records is retained beyond a deletion request because we are legally required to keep it or because it is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims:
- Billing and tax records — up to 7 years.
- Security and abuse logs — up to 12 months.
- Anonymised aggregate metrics that no longer identify you.
These exceptions match what is described in the Privacy Policy retention section.
